Hey, I'm Ben, a creatively unfulfilled graphic designer by day turned photographer and bodypaint artist by night. Most of what I tend to shoot is cinematic, intimate portraiture in unique and unconventional spaces with a focus on mood, authenticity, and a bit of storytelling. Though maybe just as much as taking photos, I love creating an experience where people feel comfortable exploring a different side of themselves. The best shoots are always the ones where a new model arrives maybe a little nervous, curious, or unsure, but by the end is cracking jokes, proposing new ideas and confidently running with the theme. Nothing makes for more empowering, "Damn, that's me?" kind of photos.

Right now I work out of a cozy 1000sqft studio space just a couple blocks from downtown Rochester. Great for studio shooting but also easy access to the Clinton River or downtown for outdoor settings.
