I began as an illustrator. I've done covers of TIME magazine, Fortune, Newsweek and illustrations for Rolling Stone, New York Times and many many others. I was often required to hire models to use as drawing reference. I came to enjoy the art of photography itself. I currently  have a new book that I've written, photographed and illustrated called "Wild Girl." It's a graphic novel of stories that are mostly illustrated with photos instead of drawings. The photos are taken in Nature, especially local forests and rivers. The girls in the book are nude because the idea is they grew up in the forest alone, and never got the cultural idea of body shame. The nudity is non-sexual... just beautiful. I used six female models for this, four of them I found on Model Mayhem. I have two tags from models I've used but I admit I neglected to seek more credits from the others. All of them were thrilled to receive copies of the final book!
  I am the author of over 20 published books on Graphic Design, Illustration, Logos and Lettering. My current book, as mentioned, will add beauty and humor.
  For me, taking photos of nude models is like being in a life-drawing class.  It's a creative process. I make sure to create a safe and professional environment. I'm well aware that models have natural concerns about the safety of the working relationship, which is why I've mentioned the above. These photos in my profile are examples from my projects to give an idea of what I'm doing.
  I like doing nature shoots and art nudes. But I am also experimental and like to play with jewelry, drapery, and come up with unusual ideas. I am a Photoshop master so I do a lot of enhancement when needed. I am currently working on a book of my photography.
