Announcing a Fashion Intensive Workshop in conjunction with Stace Bernard's Photography Group and the Aftershoot Create Together Fund. I will be presenting an instructional photography workshop at a scenic Poconos resort location

The main focus of the FASHION INTENSIVE WORKSHOP (Powered by Aftershoot) will be developing, shooting and organizing editorial fashion concepts in a way that enhances both the fashions and the model for magazine submission. I have created a methodology for fashion editorial concepts through styling, casting, production resources and photographic inspiration for creating personal and professionally satisfying fashion layout by combining and recombining existing modes, methods and techniques. All the things I wish someone had shared with me

After the information-heavy section is complete, I will be demonstrating fashion shooting practice with experienced models. From my experience over many years, I have developed a posing vocabulary that I can share in order to work with fashion models based on both improvisation as well as tried and true poses. Models will be in styled outfits that should work together and add up to a completed editorial concept. I will be doing the initial photography of each look, but time will be taken so that each participating photographer will get a chance to both capture the look and get a chance to direct posing.

The event will share the grounds with Stace Bernard's annual MegaGlam event happening the following days.

Yes, we are still work on getting a signup page outside of Meetup--though joining the Meetup Group is free.

The workshop details are:
$275 (discount available for photographers participating at MegaGlam on the following days)

Fashion Intensive Workshop is editorial fashion presentation (instruction, examples, demonstration, and a limited amount of practical shooting) from a methodology that I have used to create more than 50 published editorial layouts. I will be working 2 fashion models and information and critique from fashion art director. Optional shooting with fashion models immediately following workshop for additional cost.

Date/Location:
Thursday June 12th afternoon
Berwick PA  (at a Poconos area event location and resort)

The location is the same as Stace Bernard's MegaGlam which is happening the following day with an extensive model lineup. I will be present on the first day of that event, but the Fashion Intensive Workshop models will only be present on Thursday during my event.

You can read more about the experience here:

you can DM me with more questions or links to the models.

In the end we had a small but engaged group of photographers who were able to learn a few things and create some editorial fashion images. We pursued a luxury theme in a villa garden setting. My selection of demonstration photos will be published as a fashion layout in an upcoming issue of Vigour magazine.

So the work will be in their August issue? Or was it their July issue? I hopped over to the site and it looks like they have magazines distributed through Magcloud.

A thread sharing links to the work made by you and all the students could be interesting.
