...and your accusations on MM that another, long established photographer and MM member, was ALSO a "dirty undercover cop" (that was, apparently, sent "to get you") was yet another product of your wild imagination.

YOUR imagination may be working overtime, if you're referring to the person I think you mean. "Long established photographer?" I don't think so. Dirty undercover cops are of course an occupational hazard in our business.

JSouthworth wrote: YOUR imagination may be working overtime I don't know why JSouthworth even bothers to deny it (NOTE: He's now COMPLETELY CHANGED his original flat denial post above), when I found a long list of his slanderous claims to that effect, STILL ON MM.
He repeatedly claimed the MM photographer was everything from a "dirty undercover cop" to a "dirty undercover police officer" to "an undercover cop with a head problem", etc.
These are all DIRECT QUOTES from JSouthworth's CURRENTLY AVAILABLE MM posts.
In fact the MM photographer he accused (who had been on MM LONG before JSouthworth) finally had to make the following post (in response to JSouthworth's constant slanderous accusations).
<Name Removed> wrote: For the record, and in case MM admin or anyone else believes Southy's statement(s) about me are true, I'm not and have never been a police officer - undercover, dirty or otherwise. More complete sh*t from the troll.

There's no doubt in my mind that he was a police officer, or somebody with a serious pretence to being one. He had profiles under different names on various sites including PurplePort and Twitter/X.

For those trying to keep track...
JSouthworth has gone from claiming:
- That he doesn't remember anything like any of this (his sudden "amnesia" stage)...
- To, okay, so he does remember the model he repeatedly accused (on MM for over 2 years) of being an undercover officer sent to entrap him, but has no memory of his constant accusations that another well-established photographer was ALSO a "dirty undercover cop" sent to MM to get him...
- To, flatly claiming that it didn't happen. He made no such statements and that this was (apparently) all a product of my imagination.
- To, once his actual quotes were posted, he completely wiped out his flat denial lies, and has now gone back to his claims that the photographer in question (supposedly) REALLY WAS (yet another!) undercover cop that was "out to get him", so to speak.
Come to your own conclusions.

And I haven't outed her as working for the police because she's discussed it on another modelling site forum. It's probable that you're being disingenuous about not knowing the models real name since you never miss a chance to drop their name as being in your portfolio and your scrapbook, the gaslighting is ridiculously obvious. For the record when you take something that someone else has written about themselves from a password protected site (Linked In and another modeling site by your own admission) without their consent and then post it you are outing them. Especially when you post it in a publicly accessible forum such as MM's. You have no idea if they wanted that information divulged elsewhere, and we have no way of knowing what the context of that information was.
Thanks to the Moderators for deleting that information. We get that you feel you have been wrongly targeted by law enforcement, no one here can do anything about that, you should keep it to yourself as you're only making it worse by trying to defend what you did.
I will not be responding to anymore of your posts on this.

everyone should subject themselves to a critique on here at least once. some people only want to be compiimented, which is not going to help them improve

Generally speaking...
Why would McDonald's, Burger King, Checkers/Rallys, and White Castle waste their time asking Wendy's what "she" thinks about them, knowing damn well that she's in love with herself and will slander you to make herself look good? How does that work out for you?
The only opinion that counts is the customers'. If you want an honest critique, ask them. As long as they're satisfied, you should be happy.

I remember a million years ago there were two INCREDIBLY talented photographers in the forums here who were giving VERY sound advice (this was before the critique part was created) to photographers. I believe this was in the photography part of the forums. These amateur "photographers" (we used to call them GWCs) were getting so angry and upset that (remember these were insanely talented guys) someone was telling them a better way to shoot something. (Think wrinkled bed sheets as a backdrop "photographers".) These guys just thought buying expensive equipment would make them better.
It was hilarious and kind of sad to watch. I remember both of them stopped posting and even one left because of how frustrating it was for him. They weren't being assholes or anything like that. I remember them being helpful and technical, sometimes funny.

I've been guilty of that too. But then I had an epiphany. The only thing that really matters to me anymore is that the model is impressed. Everyting else is just noise.

But I just never understood the vitriol or combativeness from said photographers. It would be different if the two talented photographers were saying; YOU SUCK DUMMY! But they were not. They were genuinely trying to help. I suppose it is just jealousy and insecure or even projection but jesus. To drive insane talent off of a forum for trying to help is crazy to me. I just don't understand it.

And Yes there were some Very Talented Photographers like Neil Snape who provided great feedback that helped me grow
But there were also some Very Talented Photographers who were quite Nasty as well
I didn’t really complain much about that though because I was quite nasty myself in some ways

It is important to filter out unhelpful noise, focus on your own creative goals, and recognize that criticism is often subjective.

The one photographer I am talking about was almost a stand up comedian. But sometimes that doesn't go well online ESPECIALLY 20 YEARS AGO.
