Hello all, I am a filmmaker in MN and have always been fascinated with the concept of the human body being in and of itself, a work of art. We saw a cultural recognition of this in the Renaissance era when models would pose nude for paintings in service of generating an aesthetically layered work. In the modern-day though, it seems culture has commodified the human body and the line between the presentation of the human form as a means of artistic expression and the presentation of the human form as a means of exploitation has never been grayer. I'm interested in conducting filmed interviews with a few models who have interesting stories and perspectives related to these themes.
While a virtual interview is possible, those never look great so people who are interested who would be able to travel for in-person shooting would receive preferential treatment. If this interests you, reach out to me with a brief description of your backstory and your thoughts on the ideas at hand. If it seems like a good fit, I will contact you with further details on arranging the interview. Jul 01 25 12:54 pm Link |
