Protect Online Images & Artwork From AI Theft
I've just recently come across information on how we can protect our uploaded artwork and photos from being used by AI image-scrapers to inform their image-theft and style-mimicry functions. A team at the University of Chicago has been developing FREE software that makes the images we post online unusable for AI, and will eventually render their AI-training data-sets useless if enough of us use the dodge!
Have you used it? If so, what is your impression? Here's more info: https://www.technologyreview.com/2023/10/23/1082189/data-poisoning-artists-fight-generative-ai https://nightshade.cs.uchicago.edu/whatis.html/ Here's where to download either the Mac or Windows versions of the FREE software.: https://nightshade.cs.uchicago.edu/downloads.html Oct 25 25 02:53 pm Link |
