I know that it is a trend and when someone run out of poses you get this handicapped look , only because of the shoot angle and outfit.
Overlooking arm hands and posture will create awkward looks like in this where abdomen is partially obstructed and gives the impression that the model is "thick". The bra looks also awful, odd with one side nipple bump and very incompatible with the skirt. If you had a stylist you should fire for this.
The photography stills can tell a story even if images are static. The trick is in the posing. In this I am assuming you asked model to tease lifting a skirt, but it failed. Why ? because a meh look, no camera presence, great fashionable outfit but not made for tease  and an ugly panty in wrong color is an eye sore. I don't think you can motivate well your models.

Other then some great mood shots like this model poses remain artificial
